Joe Gebbia

CPO & Co-Founder

Joe Gebbia is the co-founder and CPO of Airbnb, serving on the Board of Directors and Executive staff. An entrepreneur from an early age, Airbnbs groundbreaking service began in his San Francisco apartment and spread to 3,000,000 listings in over 191 countries, creating a new economy for thousands of people around the world.


He is involved in crafting the company culture, shaping the design aesthetic, and innovating future growth opportunities. Joe has spoken globally about both entrepreneurship and design, and received numerous distinctions such as the Inc 30 under 30 and Fortune 40 under 40. His lifelong appreciation for art and design led him to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he earned dual degrees in Graphic Design and Industrial Design. Gebbia now serves on the institution’s Board of Trustees.

Adam loves APIs and the people behind them. He helps developers bring integrations and automation to everyone. For most of his career, Adam has worked remotely from Portland for teams based in Seattle, St. Louis, and all over the world.

Ivana McConnell

UI/UX, Customer.io

 

Ivana was born in Sarajevo to a civil engineer-turned-translator and a UN Officer-turned-software engineer. Having previously made a living as a rock climbing instructor and video game tester, these days she’s a senior UX designer helping businesses talk like people at Customer.io, based in Vancouver (via Croatia, Scotland, and Canada’s east coast).

Nicole Miller

Team Engagement Manager, Buffer

Nicole began her remote work journey as the first community champion at Buffer and has been a part of the team for almost three years, seeing the company grow from 25 to now 75 teammates. She works from home in Portland surrounded by a busy toddler, two dogs, some chickens, ducks and horses.

Taurie Davis

Senior UX Designer, GitLab

Taurie is in-charge of crafting reliable and intuitive experiences at GitLab. Since joining the team in July, she has watched GitLab's remote only team double in size with contributors from all over the world. When not working from home, Taurie enjoys an active lifestyle while exploring the Pacific Northwest.
